Multi-Author Story Event

Do you find the holiday season to be romantic? So does the inimitable blackrandl1958.

She has organized a holiday event for the readers of Stories Online and has recruited some amazing writers to participate. The stories will all be romance period pieces and will debut in early December.

I'll be submitting "An Ingenue in Montauk", a romance set in 1969 in Manhattan.

I've had the pleasure of reading a few of the stories a bit early and we're all in for a treat. This event will surely put Randi on Santa's "nice" list.

Happy Thanksgiving!

UPCOMING

Chapter two of Alistair will be posted within the week and then I'll be joining some amazing authors as we explore BTB stories that swim against the tide. It seems that as of late, stories about cheating spouses that have ramifications for the cheaters have gotten insanely violent and dark.

Each of the authors will be posting a story where there are serious repercussions for the infidelity without reaching into a blood stained bag of tricks that includes murder, torture, beatings, etc.

I'll be going back to the Montauk universe on Halloween with a strange, dark story that's close to a twisted fairy tale. Fairy being the operative word.

I hope you'll enjoy the stories. Thanks for reading.

For those that read the story prior to the having the html tagging problems rectified, I apologize.

Some errors are lingering. I have no idea why StoriesOnline has such serious issues with italics and other tags, but it is what it is.

The italics at the start should last until the end of the dream sequence. The link at the end of the story to Returning Home should be a live hyperlink. Oh well.

The story is set in the same world with some of the same characters as Returning Home. If you enjoyed one, you may want to check out the other.

NEW STORIES

I have two new stories up. The first is "A Montauk Horror". A complete story unto itself, it could be viewed as the first story in the Montauk series. It is set in the 1970s and gets a little weird. If you've enjoyed any of the other Montauk stories, I think you'll like it.

The second story is "The Vivisectionist", a modern day romance that involves vampires, vampire hunters, Biblical characters and has its roots in the first century.

I'm working on a few new stories, including two more in the Montauk series. If you've read anything I have written, I appreciate your taking the time.

Multi-Author Event!

St. Patrick's Day has lots of festive people and copious amounts of beer. That's good, because the rest of it sucks. Corned beef is traditionally boiled. Boiled!

Isn't that why we rebelled against England in the first place? We didn't want taxation without representation and we certainly didn't want boiled meat. That's why BBQ was invented in the good old USA. And Irish Soda Bread? Dry as the Sahara.

Horrible. So, why not expand on the horror and indulge in some amazing stories with a gothic horror theme later in the week?

Some amazing authors with a shed full of clitoride nominations will be participating in an event for the readers where they submit stories with a gothic horror theme on March 20th.

For the very reasonable price of FREE, you get to enjoy story after story from some very talented writes.
