It's here at last!!!

I had so much fun writing about Naomi and her new family, I had trouble winding up the story, bringing in new characters and situations. As a result it's slow and wends it's merry way.

This is probably the end of the story, but there's scope to add extra scenes once I've finished a couple of other stories I have in progress, one of which is even longer than this one.

Sorry it's taking so long to finish this story.
Unlike a lot of people in the current crisis, my job is so much busier than it was in regular times, so I've only been able to give this story a few hours a week.

As a bit of a teaser I can tell you this update on the story includes two new characters and Naomi's (and Tom's) love life becomes infinitely more complicated, and more fun.

I've said this before, but I really do hope to get this story finished this week, as I'm having a long awaited week off work.

I've had so many nice messages about this story.

I'll admit, it does finish kind of abruptly, and there's obviously more to tell, so I've started a second part.

This appeared to me almost whole in a dream the other night, I really enjoyed putting the plot into words.
I have two more stories in the works, I hope to post one of them next week, the other seems to be never ending, it's 200,000 words at the moment, I think it will hit 1/4 million before it's finished

Well, this isn't going as planned.

I originally thought this story could be told in 10,000 words, then I mentioned in the blog post it was looking to be 30-35k.

Well I'm 77,000 words in and there's no sign of it coming to a close, what was originally a short story idea is turning into my most ambitious story yet, and it's taking a long time to come together because I'm handwriting every word, then typing it up in batches, which is sometimes a struggle with my handwriting...
