OK, a few thoughts raised by Revenge of the Cheated:
1- because many BTB stories I've read in the past have been pretty poor, I blocked the tag years ago. This means my story is blocked from my own feed. Whoops...
2 - because I set myself a strict, exam standard one hour time limit to write this, I've proved to myself that I can write a whole story in 2,000 words without wandering off down new storylines and adding dozens of new characters.
3 - I can write a half decent revenge plot.
4 - what I can't do is write a serious story. This was never meant to be funny, but every message I've received about it has commented on the humour. I guess my writing style reflects my personality too much, and I'm destined to only write light-hearted stories even when they're about pretty dark subjects.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and thanks for the messages, they're always good to read...
Hello
A very quick story that appeared out of nowhere when I was walking to the library this morning.
No sex, a bit of nastiness, and a cover image with two beautiful women...what more could you want (apart from a sex scene)
For those that have asked / demanded, I've the beginning of a sequel to Actress in progress.
Hello, another new story... you folks are really gaining from me being out of work at the moment.
Anyway, this is a story about a school boy who meets his heroine, a TV actress called Elena Martin who has quite a rough back story.
Josh is quite a unique kid, I think he's probably my first character to be explicitly on the spectrum, this gives him an unusual world view, and a photographic memory of Elena's biography.
Anyway, the story talks about a TV company filming in Morecambe, and weirdly, as I was finishing the story in the library this morning, a BBC film crew were setting up their cameras to film inside the hotel where Elena is staying, and the beach alongside.
Let me know what you think...
Yes, I know I said I'd be working on Pictures of Lucy, but I just can't help it when a new story works its way into my head.
This is semi-autobiographical.
When I'm not working, I spend my mornings in the local pub, where I have breakfast, coffee and write some words.
I then take those words to the library where I type them up.
This part of the story is true, and the 10 words I would say to Caitlin each day.
Everything after that is pure fantasy.
Caitlin used to work in my local pub, but has moved out of town,
so I wrote this as a little memento of a beautiful girl who has gone on to bring some joy to other people's lives...
The third, and probably final part of Ruby's Adventures is live.
After a prolific few weeks whilst I've been out of work, I'm hoping to start a new job next week, so my output will slide.
From tomorrow, I'm going to pick up Pictures of Lucy.
I have an ending, and I think it will need 5 or 6 more chapters to get there.
Regards
