I still drive past the shopping center every afternoon. In the last 9 months the gates closed, got locked, the security guards disappeared. The windows are dark and the windows are not see-through anymore.
I had a long discussion with the wifey about what she would change and a boutique was the first thing that popped up. I still feel a 20 / 25 meter pool will be perfect for me.
That prompted me to revisit a story that had reaction ranging from disgust to praise... I was just happy with the fact that people showed interest.
I learnt a lot from it.... it is just for personal satisfaction...
23 months before purchase of the property - Abram receives and installs the mysterious blade.
Month 0 Elias discovers the old shopping center and decides to buy it.
Months 0–14 Renovations transform the center into Venter House. Mara becomes involved, Willem develops security, and Abram’s equipment is integrated into the basement.
Around Month 14 Lena arrives at the gate in the rain. The main household story begins.
Months 14–20 Relationships develop; the dark room expands its influence; the custodial history and Kofi’s involvement emerge.
Around Month 20 The first siege occurs. Book One ends in its immediate aftermath.
Nine weeks after the siege—around Month 22 Mara comes to breakfast in pyjamas.
It is important to note a couple of things from my perspective.
For me... this is just fun.
English is obviously not my first language, I can write the story in another language and then only typically local readers might understand.
I can write it in accented English and typically only the same people will understand.
I have an obsession about reading a story where it can be read word for word. Not where the author tells a story and describe the scene and the same sex is happening paragraph after paragraph. Without the people talking to each other. Where scenes are repeated every few chapters.
There are some brilliant authors on the site... and I try and read and enjoy all. Even bought some books and did some Patreon.
I had this idea about the building, and the first thing as multi-billionaire is to install a machine... Server blades, stacked to the roof, and have an AI running in there. LOL, I have an AI running on my home computer and obviously a couple in the commercial space.
But it is important to me to have people talking, Have real ideas about the world and what to do... and maybe have a bit of private fun.
I have about 5 fully thought out story ideas.
If somebody is interested in computer ideas with some mystery then it will happen, If somebody wants to collaborate and juice a story up by making the private fun a bit more public then it is also possible.
Almost all authors have up to 5 people editing, reviewing, and commenting, I would love to have... currently I have myself and my computer.
My story is marked as AI generated, even though I spend many hours doing a chapter...
