The second last chapter of Book 2 is up for posting now. That means tomorrow is the big finale. Today's chapter is sort of calm and nothing truly momentous happens, but there are some conversations that look to the future.
Thanks to everyone who's writing me. I apologize for the delay in having Book 3 ready for those people who were hoping that it would be up for pre-release by now. My original intention had been to do pre-release in two waves to keep it from getting overwhelming. My lack of ability with converting the files has been my own undoing.
I spoke with John, who is helping me get my house in order and the good news is that he was able to tell me what I did wrong. The bad news is that it was EVERYTHING! LOL. He's working on the files now to fix my mistakes. It seems that converting files is some form of sorcery that I am woefully unqualified for.
Hi everyone. Chapter 36 just went up for posting and it cover's the rest of Matt's Sunday with Gina. I think it's a satisfying chapter, if a little shorter than some of you have wanted.
Thanks to everyone who writes. The contact often keeps me glued to my computer, motivated to write more when life wants to tear me away.
On a side note, I've been trying to get the files converted for the pre-release of Book 3 along with the completed, corrected book 1 and book 2, but it's maddening. I'm unqualified to perform the sorcery of Calibre, so I admitted defeat in the pre-dawn hours this morning and sent the files to one of my editors, begging for help. He's working on them now, so a warm thank you to Who-Cares621 for being smarter than me and generous enough to rescue me from myself.
Hi all. Today's chapter should explain Zoe's plight in more detail and it encompasses most of Matt's Sunday. There's been a fair bit of speculation on what Zoe's issue was. Some of the guesses were surprising, but today is the big reveal.
Thanks again to everyone who writes. It's usually the high point of my day to read the responses each day.
Chapter 34 is submitted for posting. It's date night for Matt and this chapter encompasses most of his evening with Tricia. It's not a terribly long chapter, but I think it's very satisfying.
Again, thanks to everyone who writes, even if it's just a brief word of thanks.
I've posted Chapter 33 to the queue. It's the first part of Matt's Saturday and beginning of the fallout from Zoe's decision not to come back. There were a couple of turns of phrase in this one that I was particularly proud of. I'm told "cake-baking Christ" is the most memorable.
Thanks again for all the feedback, positive and negative. It all helps, even if I don't make every suggested correction.
