Chapter 11 is in for posting. It covers the rest of Christmas Day right up to bed time. There's a mention of a chocolate covered caramel apple in this chapter. For those of you curious about them, they're made by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (and probably other similar establishments). They're simply amazing. If you've never had one, look up Rocky Mountain and find the nearest location. They're worth the effort.

Again, apologies for my email delinquency. I suffer from insomnia, so when the bouts get bad, I'm a virtual zombie. That's good for my writing because my mind's eye rambles vividly in a glazed state similar to dreaming while you're awake. Medical professionals like to call them hallucinations and claim they're bad for you. What do they know?

Unfortunately, it's bad for correspondence. I often don't have the brain power to answer serious questions when I get like this. My girlfriend knows that it's bad when I start to enjoy the cartoons she watches. She tries to send me to bed at that point. It hasn't been working out lately.

I just put Chapter 10 up for posting. It represents most of the rest of Christmas Day. There are still a few surprises in store for the holidays for Matt and his family though.

I have to apologize for how delinquent I've been with email lately. I've been feeling a little under the weather lately and when I can sit at the computer, I've been keeping my head in the writing since my attention span is a little more limited lately. Worry not. I'll catch up eventually, but right now, I've been very blah.

I just put chapter 9 in for posting. The Christmas day that started with the last chapter will continue here. There's a LOT going on in this chapter from the time Matt wakes up from his nap. I hope you all love it.

Today's chapter is submitted for posting. It's the rest of Matt's Christmas Eve and while it's not nearly as nail-biting as Matt's confrontation with Patrick, it has its own brand of tension. No spoilers though.

Thanks go out to everyone who reads, writes or both. I appreciate hearing from everyone. To answer the most prevalent question in everyone's mind, Book 4 is still being written. I'm actually writing 4 different pieces right now. I realized that the other day and was astounded that I'm writing four different works, with their own casts of characters and plotlines. It's very Matt-like. So far I haven't crossed over and accidentally involved characters back and forth....that I've noticed, at least. LOL

Chapter seven is submitted for posting and it represents Matt's Christmas Eve. This is a chapter that references another SOL author and one of my biggest influences to post my work online. It comes out in a conversation between Matt and Gina.

That conversation also leads to one of the more interesting conversations of the book, in my opinion. I hope you all love it.
