I hope your new year is enjoyable.

Thanks for reading.

Friday at Charlie’s

Seems the randomizer is pushing Friday at Charlie's which holds a special place in my heart and in the heart of First Kiss. We wrote a couple of stories together. And while I will never measure up to her level, it was nice to be able to spend some time with her. I hope you all enjoy the story.

Ever have one of those....

Ever had one of those months? You know, the type where your inner muse is on vacation? Or hibernation? I am moving into month four. I write a couple of hundred words, then nothing: no spark, no excitement, no yipee moment, no wellspring of animalistic desire. You get the idea. Dullsville. Utter boredom. And I am not even sick! Maybe if the weather cools off as we head into September, I might become inspired, but right now, I could not write a rousing story if someone stood naked in front of me.

A Rainy Night In Paris

I wrote this story a long time ago. I was supposed to be a sex romp and it wound up being a fish out of water story. There was some revenge and some ass kicking and some romance. Where it came from is still a mystery to me. But it is still a powerful story for me. And I hope you enjoy it.

Not quite the Hot 100

I am always amazed at the uptake, or not, of my stories. I have commented on how many people read Teenage Memories, and I thought it was not that good. I was surprised by how many read A Sheltered Life. It is still number two of my most-read stories and closing in on Lucy (less than 8,000 reads separate the two - which is more than some of my stories have in total, and more than the bottom eight have combined!).

Earlier this week, I posted The Cruise, and it is currently sitting at number thirteen. I expect it will climb a bit higher before it stops, but whether it settles in the realm of 4000 reads (with Teenage Memories and A Rainy Night in Paris) or whether it moves into a solid number three behind A Sheltered Life I cannot predict.

But I can thank you for reading.
