The final chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.
This week's chapters open with Cleve learning that Sergeant Cornplanter is a real fighter. Also that morning four men from the Addison III National Guard arrive. The Colonel is not impressed with them. Later that day there is trouble with Sergeant Cracker again when he bursts in on Susie in the shower.
The next morning trouble develops when they learn they have no transportation. The problem becomes worse when they learn that the rebels have been active in the city over night. They head for the Air Wing Headquarters when everyone is ready. The assault on the headquarters and the runways is proceeded by a distraction provided by Task force Six elements who shoot down a blockade runner at the runway. Later Cleve and the Colonel inspect the results of the battle.
It requires another two days for planes to be ready to take them to the initial search sites. They leave on day three and spend three more days in the field searching several abandoned camp sites. This is followed by three more weeks with little to show for their efforts.
The National Guard contingent is changed during this time and they are replaced by Guardsmen who are professional hunters. During the fourth week of searches, things improve and they begin to find evidence of hastily abandoned camps. They are even fired on by a sniper at one of the camps.
The next search operation starts badly with transportation problems. They arrive at the landing site very late and set up but don't set out for the camp location. The Colonel soon realizes that this was done on purpose. That night they are attacked by the rebels, who are beaten back. The Colonel calls the Chief Investigator for police assistance with the clean up.
In the morning Cleve goes to find his Partners and the two men they have captured and guarded over night. Later that morning, the Team and the Marines set out for the camp some seven miles through the jungle. Following a short skirmish they reach the camp where there are many sick and injured. The Partners are sent after the escaping mercenaries.
Everyone is eventually evacuated and they return to the warehouse. The President declares the rebellion over. The Marines are returned to their ships, and most of the Army personnel are recalled.
Six weeks later orders arrive in the form of the Special Operations S-3. The Team and the Colonel are headed for Headquarters and a new assignment, one that the S-3 tells them they will eventually hate him for.
This ends the Partners story, but not the series, as there is at least one more story planned.
I am currently working on Injustice III, Magic Ink VIII, and a fun story called Marianne. None of these are ready for posting yet.
I wish to thank all who have read this story, especially those of you who have sent me emails with corrections or told me how much you enjoyed the story.

The new chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.
This week's chapters open Trish and Cleve turning their Partners over to the remainder of the Team. The new Marines assigned to them arrive, and all are sent off to the warehouse.
Arriving at the conference, they are shown to seats at the head of the table. Admiral Rockler opens the conference with some background information, but no one knows why the system has been quarantined. Colonel Ferguson reveals what they have learned but only after everyone else is removed from the shuttle except the Admiral and the President. Following revealing the cause of the rebellion and some discussion, the Admiral reopens the conference before closing it.
Quickly leaving the conference, the Colonel has a discussion with General Miller about support personnel. Their return to the warehouse is greeted with great enthusiasm and a promotion party.
Later that evening, the Colonel convinces Cleve to have sex with her again, although at first he is very reluctant because of the difference in their ranks now. later in the shower he finds Miranda in there with Trish. In the morning, Susie asks the Colonel if she will soon be having kittens. Trish is very embarrassed and needs to explain.
Later that morning, several vehicles arrive along with personnel, a Supply Sergeant, a Cook and assistant, plus a Mechanic. The Cook is startled by the Partners and shocked on learning that she will need to cook for them also. The supply Sergeant is also surprised by the amount of meat that will be required.
Enjoy these two chapters. More to follow next week.

This week's chapters open with shock and surprise as everyone learns that the Addison III system has been quarantined.
There is more amazement when they learn that Trish was asked to join Special Operations and as a Major. There is more speculation as to why the system is being quarantined. Trish believes they have those with the answers there at the warehouse.
Later Cox is interrogated by Miranda using the truth spell. He refuses to answer even the simplest questions, but the spell compels him to answer. Eventually they learn the real reason for the rebellion. The answer surprises everyone. McHenry is brought out to confirm the reason.
Upstairs following a shower, Trish seduces Cleve, and they have sex for a considerable time.
Awakening the next morning, there are more surprises when they reach the office where they receive a message from Task Force Six Commo about a meeting they are to attend that afternoon. Hanson explains who the message is from.
Arriving at the spaceport early, an Army light Colonel is unhappy to see so many of them, but Trish clears the way with the Tigers help. At 1500 hrs, Admiral Rockler arrives with his staff and three other Admirals plus two shuttles full of Marines.
There are promotions planned, and Trish and Cleve are shocked to discover that they are the ones being promoted. The Admiral addresses those present about the planning session. Trish and Cleve are invited but not the Partners. They are left with the rest of the Team.
Enjoy these two chapters, more next week.
For those interested, I have been posting minor corrections to Injustice II for the past week or so.

This week's chapters open with the prisoner being interrogated. They are just about finished when there is a commotion in the parking area, and shortly the two Navy Corpsmen stagger in. They had been attacked. While Cleve is securing their medical bags, Bob captures another prisoner ... Charles. Miranda interrogates him, and they learn the names of two of the leaders of the rebellion.
Before leaving to arrest the rebel leaders, Trish arranges for additional help for the Corpsmen. They gain access to the first suspect's house by a subterfuge and arrest him, but he has tracking chips in his body and they need to destroy the security system before removing him.
The second suspect proves to be more difficult to arrest as his compound is protected by missiles and perimeter guns. Cleve finds the security at the rear of the compound to be inoperative but still protected by a high voltage electric fence.
The Chief Investigator and Miranda are having trouble with the suspect. Bob and Susie detect large prey animals in the forest and stampede them into the fence. The herd of large Rhinoceros like animals create havoc in the compound allowing the Team to escape. They are pursued by an aircar, which is taken out by a missile from the spaceport.
The reinforcements have arrived at the warehouse when they return. The new prisoners have been locked in the Partners cage just before there is a call from the Commander of the Franklin with unexpected news.
Enjoy these two chapters. More next week.

The new chapters have gone to the Moderators for posting.
This week's chapters open with Cleve telling to the rescue unit that they were under attack. Later after the shuttled land, a Marine Captain joins him. They are just starting toward the waiting shuttle when they are attacked by an aircar firing on them. The Marine's shuttles take it out at a safe distance.
At the Arnold spaceport, a bossy female Lieutenant Colonel tries to take control of Tiger Team and the two Marines. Clece points out that they are not subject to her orders. They are joined at this point by the Special Operations Representative to Addison III and her Partner.
At the Special Operations building, a large warehouse, the Partners are fed, and the Team retrieves their their personal gear. Following getting set up in their rooms, they return to the first floor where Trish has been working on the evening meal.
Dinner is very tasty, but is interrupted by Miranda who has a premonition that something is wrong. It isn't long after making preparations before there is a large explosion, and they are contacted by one of the destroyers which informs them that they had knocked out a missile headed their way. They are then attacked by two trucks mounting heavy weapons, however Trish has a cure for that.
Miranda detects others waiting for the first responders, and the Marines go on sniper duty. Cleve and all of the Partners go out to look for them. The Eagles provide pictures of the area. Cleve and the Tigers take out one of the rebels and go in search of the others. Bob takes out one and Susie stops a sniper.
Back at the warehouse, the police and other responders soon arrive with questions. The wounded prisoner is sent off to the hospital and the dead one to the morgue. The Team and the Chief Investigator go inside to question the remaining prisoner.
Enjoy these two chapters, more next week with additional action.
