This week's chapters open with Max, Jill, and Maureen arriving at Uncle Thad's farm. Maureen surprises everyone and acquires a cat. She has several problems. One is the doll house and another is the cat. She can talk to it.
The next morning, Jill finds the cat sleeping in Maureen's bed with her. Later they all transfer to Nick's house to discuss Maureen's education and Magic training. Max goes to get Angus and Calisa. They arrive with their cats. Angus solves the problem with the cat in the house, and they all discuss her education and Magic training.
Later that night, Thad learns who they will be going after next and is shocked. Max and Jill begin their research the next morning. Their first subject is easy to learn about, but the Pentagon presents more of a problem. The weather is also a factor.
On Friday they set out for Washington and arrive there on Saturday. They begin their reconnaissance with a jog around part of the Naval Observatory, before getting a hotel room outside the beltway.
That afternoon they return to Norman Stone Park to listen in on the Secret Service guarding their quarry, and obtain information. That evening they return to the park before moving to the Observatory to check out the residence of the Vice President.
Sunday afternoon, they recon the Pentagon, and that night they return to the Observatory and check out the interior of the residence. Max located the bunker there. Following a snack, they transfer to the Pentagon where Max secures the papers and information that he needed. They also plan on how they will return.
I hope that you are enjoying the story, unfortunately there may be an unplanned interruption in posting of the remaining chapters, as I am scheduled for Cataract surgery on the first of February. I will try to have the next two chapters prepared for posting by the 31st of January, but don't know if I will be able to see well enough to use the computer by Friday the second. I will do my best, but they may be late being posted.

There is a lot going on this week, and the new chapters open late on Tuesday night with Max and Jill convincing the two original prisoners to assist them on Wednesday. The next morning they question the remaining members of the Anti-Magic League before burning all of them to death, destroying even the ashes.
Later that afternoon, they have Lew and Al move the heroin and put it in the delivery vans. The buyers are later arriving, but after they inspect the heroin, Max freezes all of them with a freeze spell. Max and Jill discover that 42.5 million dollars take up a lot of room. Following putting all of the prisoners in storage, they move the money to a safe place.
Later that afternoon, all of the vans and the sedan are moved to the Museum Place Garage. Starting at 0330 hrs. on Thursday morning, they move all of the prisoners to the vehicles on the top level of the garage before Max realizes that they have forgotten Frank 'the Fish'.
It is nearly 0500 before Max hangs all of the Russians and Frank "the Fish", while leaving the others tied up in the vehicles.
They awake on Thursday morning following a short nap and checkout of the hotel. The hotel's employee informs them of all that is happening in Salem. They check in with Paddy on returning to Boston. That evening Kathleen visits them to discuss Maureen's Magic training. Friday they withdraw Maureen form school in Boston and set out for Thad's farm on Saturday morning.
More chapters next week. Don't forget to nominate and later vote for your favorite stories in the Clitorides Awards.

This week's chapters open with Max and Jill learning where the Heroin is stored and capturing two of the men. Later they question them and investigate the Sail Loft. Following lunch, they work on the plan and the timetable for the operation. Following that, they locate a place to deal with the Magic Haters, and early the next morning, Max deals with the launch crew.
Tuesday night they attend the meeting of the Magic Haters at the Hawthorne and capture them. After transferring all of them to the closed off tunnel section, Max and Jill pause for a snack again.
They have no luck getting the leaders to talk to them willingly. After a few changes, and the use of the Truth spell, they learn what they need to know from all of the leaders. Later, they arrange for the two original prisoners to assist them on Wednesday with the delivery of the Heroin.
More chapters next week.

This week's chapters open with Max preparing to abduct 'the Fish'. He leaves him in their new hotel in the sub-basement of the second Otis House.
Frank isn't very cooperative the next morning, but eventually he tells them all that he knows about the Magic Haters.
Paddy's rush job isn't working out well, and Max offers to help him with it. Jill and Maureen want to go with them.
Thursday, Max checks the routes to Salem, while Jill makes reservations at the Hawthorne Hotel. Paddy returns with a fat check for the rush job.
Saturday, they leave for Salem. That night they listen in on a meeting of the Magic Haters and learn about their latest operation. They eventually investigate the tunnels connected to the hotel.
Sunday, they tour the old Custom House looking for clues to the tunnels. Later they watch the heroin being unloaded, before returning to the tunnels to see where it is being stored.
More next week.

This week's chapters open with Paddy at the Pub with his employees. Paddy gets very drunk. Max uses the hangover spell on him the next morning before they move into the house that he is allowing them to use. Following that Max and Paddy leave for the North End where the Patriarca's have their headquarters. Paddy explains their history.
Maureen is still at their apartment when Max arrives later that evening. Jill has been teaching her Magic. Maureen's Mother arrives as they finish dinner, and they go up to meet her. Max needs to demonstrate that there actually is Magic before she will believe it.
Later Max transfers to the North End and the New Acorn Social Club to check it and Frank 'the Fish' out. There is much talk there before Frank arrives. Max leaves to check out the other club and the 'cheeseman's' apartment.
Arriving near the condo, he transfers inside and hears an argument between the DiNunzio brothers and learns much about the Magic Haters before returning home for the night.
The next day, Max is worried about hanging 'the Fish' and alerting those in Salem. Jill returns from doing research at the library and Max learns that there are tunnels under part of Boston.
While many of the tunnel entrances are no longer accessible, the Second Otis House on Beacon Hill is still available. Max and Jill investigate the basement of the house where they find two tunnel entrances. One leads to a larger tunnel, and the second leads to an area with a very fancy and private prison.
More chapters next week.
I wish all of the readers on SOL a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year.
