New chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.
This week's chapters open with the announcement by Admiral Tokugawa of the Total Quarantining of the entire Owen's World System. First Mobile and the Marines are still scheduled to be vaccinated the next day, and they need to prepare for that. Cleve needs more information on vaccine guns.
The following day, Medics arrive from the Pasteur to vaccinate the Marines, those from First Mobile and the ground Partners. Later that day, Cleve and the others determine how many dependents and relatives of their employees they will need to vaccinate.
There is also a discussion about starting their actual mission before Henshaw needs to be dealt with.
While getting ready for their First Mission, they learn about how the planet was discovered and received its name.
It is eventually decided which Teams and which Marine squads will make the trip to the Wat to speak to the Monk who is stirring up many of the displaced farmers. There are also discussions and plans made for the Second Mission and who will be going on it. Della is tasked to obtain additional fuel and food for the missions.
The following day Tiger Team and Team A-31 leave on the First Mission. While visiting the Wat, a startling discovery is made.
These chapters were very interesting to write.
Enjoy these chapters. More next week.

This week's chapters open with the arrival of the Epidemiologist. There is a slight problem with reading the instructions for the vaccine that they had seized.
Bob had been injured on the mission and needed to have the wound treated. His harem goes with him much to the doctor's delight.
At dinner, Trish brings up the need for translators. Della is assigned to find some.
The following day Dr. Bentley recommends vaccinating all of those working for them as well as all of their personnel and the Marines.
Della returns with a couple of translators and a Political Science professor. Later that afternoon the professor and the translators explain to their employees the need to be vaccinated. Also about the need to have their families vaccinated and where it will may take place.
Later Commander Bentley also informs them that the vaccine for their personnel and the Marines will be there in the morning. There is a surprise ending to the chapter.
While these two chapters only cover a short time period, they are very busy with decision making and planning.
Enjoy these chapters. More next week.

This week's chapters open with Tish and the Admiral planning the mission to New Bangkok to retrieve the vaccine.
On reaching the city, things turn out to be different than they had expected. Trish eventually gets the truth from Henshaw.
They now have a new problem but find a solution with the help of the Admiral. While the fleet handles one problem, First Mobile and their Marine escort deal with the second. They have been joined by Hanson's and Gram's squads.
Those at the fortified warehouse ignore the Admiral's warnings to their detriment.
First Mobile demands that the Woos surrender their store of vaccine. Lucy needs to use a spell to make them comply. Later they search the wreckage for the bunker where the vaccine is stored. They have little trouble securing it once in the bunker.
These chapters are full of action, but much of it was not anticipated when they set out. It was also not in my original outline for the story.
Storms here this afternoon. Electricity has been on and off.
Enjoy these chapters. More next week.

This week's chapters open with lots of problems. There are new employees to be checked out, and old employees to be interrogated. There are also prisoners to be interrogated, and the dead to be dealt with.
The Marine's Company Commander arrives that afternoon along with more of his unit. Trish invites him to dinner but is busy interrogating prisoners. Mr. Henshaw arrives the next day with three Monks.
The Monks determine where to hold the ceremony and the cremation. One of the Monks passes out from a rapidly spreading disease. There are questions about why there hadn't been information earlier about the disease. Trish contacts the Admiral to alert her to the disease and to request assistance before going to question Mr. Henshaw. They eventually learn the truth and are shocked by the possibilities.
In these chapters, the real problems on Owen's World are revealed. Enjoy these chapters. More next week.

This week's chapters open with First Mobile finally obtaining an adequate facility for their unit and the Marines they will be receiving. The Navy task-force had already arrived, and the Admiral wants to know when they will be ready to receive Marines.
To ensure they are ready to operate, Cleve and Joel go into New Bangkok to obtain maps, intelligence on the guerrillas, and weather data. The Contracting Officer accompanies them and accomplishes a lot that day.
The first Marine shuttle arrives the next morning and it and the compound are attacked by two separate forces. The attackers are dealt with, but the contract employees are missing. Cleve leads a patrol out to retrieve the missing employees.
On locating the employees, there is a problem as some of them think the Tigers are Demons. They all return to the compound together.
There are a number of dead attackers and some prisoners. They learn that live prisoners are a bit unusual, but they need to learn how the dead are to be cared for. There is another problem when a bomb is found on one of the trucks.
These chapters reveal just some of the problems that the Unit and the Marines will have to deal with during this mission.
Enjoy these chapters, more next week as the writing of the story is finished.
