Dragon Son II, Chapters 3 & 4

The new chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.

This week's chapters open with precautions being taken to keep those spying on the Dragons in the dark.

Both Queens go into the hospital to deliver their Daughters. While there the Nest is attacked. Dallas and Doreen are sent to deal with those responsible. They later report back to the Queens, and Maddy relates a story about a previous attack on the Nest.

The European spies have a meeting and finally agree to check out the Nest at Stone Mountain. Their trip a few days later isn't very enlightening.

A couple of weeks after the Queens return home, Dallas and Doreen go to the hospital to have their Sons. Several of the Familiars also have their litters.

A short time later, things in China go all to hell when the Dragons start their revenge. Chinese Embassies around the world are closed.

During this time of trouble, the Central Committee meets in a secret location to avoid the Dragon's revenge. Their supposedly secret location is breached by the arrival of an ancient Dragon statue bearing a gift.

Enjoy these chapters, more next week.

Dragon Son II, Chapters 1 & 2

The opening chapters of the new story have been posted.

Following their meeting with the President, the Dragons returned to their hotel. Those in D.C. have a lot of questions but no answers. The President wanted answers, answers that were not available. He demanded that they be found.

At the various Embassies in D.C., those involved in the assassination attempts are taking steps to cover themselves from blame.

The FBI and the CIA launch investigations, both together and separately. When asked, David De Tocqueville sends them to check the past news videos on the Dragons. He also related their history.

The following day, the President isn't a happy camper when he learns that they don't use technology but use Magic instead. He still wants to control it.

The day following the meeting with the President, the Queens and their families return home. They had things to take care of.

In May, Craig and Jorani return to Tibet to check on things. While there, Jorani has a nightmare about the murder of two Dragons by the Chinese. The Queens of Old call a meeting of the Dragons the following day, and the situation is explained. The Spirits of Magic offer advice. Later, Craig returns to Lhasa to warn Tsepak about the Dragons anger.

When they return to Atlanta, both Queens have an appointment with Dr. Graham.

Enjoy these opening chapters. More next week.

Things have gone very well on Dragon Son II. The writing is finished, or as much as it ever can be. The editing is progressing very well. Therefore, I will begin posting the initial chapters of Dragon Son II next Friday, the first of July unless there is some reason to delay it, like Atlanta has an earthquake or something equally serious.

I have received some inquiries about the sequel to my previous story Dragon Son. I am close to finishing the writing part of the story, but there is still a considerable part of the editing to finish. I am hoping to have everything finished in a few weeks, and will be able to start posting the story then.

I plan on giving my readers a week's notice before beginning to post. Stay tuned.
