Character's can't be themselves?

Had one comment, I won't out the person, but they stated.

"Usually like this type story, but you lost me when
you started bible thumpin. Good luck"

So one character being true to them self ruins the whole story? What should I do, make them all atheists?

Sorry if the depiction of characters who are themselves turn you off. I'm not writing this to tow PC blandness and make cookie-cutter people.

Continuing On

Chapter 4 of 'Lost in the Past' is up. This is almost writing itself as I'm already well into writing Chapter 5.

For all the people reading, thank you. For the comments either on the site or via e-mail, extra thanks.

More Issues

A few people, either though comments or E-Mail have mentioned some issues. I've replied directly, but decided to also address them here.

Bare Feet - yes, most people would be hobbling after a while in those conditions. A couple of them don't have the issue, having spent enough time barefoot back home to have calluses. Some type of sandal will be made for those who need them.

Placement - one person mentioned that Saber-tooth existed in North America, so that's where they have to be. While Smilodon and a few other species were N.A. native - other species existed in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America - so that's not going to help. I will say there's a clue in Chapter 2 for the careful reader, but I won't spoil that.

Time - They are in a warm period, but it's not the Holocene - the current warm period. Glacial periods happen in cycles and they could be in any previous warm period - how they figure out when will be taken care of in a later chapter.

I'm not just writing this on the fly, I've done a good bit of research to make sure I'm not turning this into fantasy.

And Up

As promised this morning, Chapters 2 and 3 of 'Lost in the Past' are now up. Enjoy

Faster than I thought

This story is actually flowing out of me. Chapters 2 and 3 are pretty much done with Chapter 4 also well along.

I'll be doing final checks on 2 & 3 - spelling, grammar, etc - then putting them up perhaps later today. Since the events in those two run concurrently, putting them up at the same time makes sense to me.

One person questioned the 'Interracial' tag. Since these people are of all geno-types, it's pretty much a necessity based on the site rules. Otherwise I wouldn't care and omit it - people are people IMO, nothing else matters.

Again, thanks to all the readers, commenters and the ones putting this in their library. Those are the things that give me a warm glow. Comments/critiques always appreciated.
