This week with Arlene and Jeff:

...The Captain sat reading through the data concerning Vilia 4, the primary planet in the Ticichi system and the newly formed Union of the Axis.

The Khols was a conglomeration of pirates from several races that were never entirely stamped out, no matter how many raids the Federation undertook to do just that. When the Federation would finally find the Khols and attack in force, the pirates would scatter and slip away. After a year or two, they would reappear, usually in another system, seemingly stronger than ever before.

"Shit, another boring mission," the First groused when the Captain copied the orders to the First's screen for him to read. "We would never be lucky enough to find the bastards. They always seem to know where Federation forces are and hit somewhere else."

"Navigator," the First Officer said, "plot a course for Vilia 4, the Capitol planet of the Ticichi system."

"Vilia 4 of the Ticichi System," the Navigator repeated.

"Probably so this time, too," the Captain continued, "but on second thought, drop us into the system well out from its primary. We'll observe for a while before we make our presence known. Maybe - just maybe - we'll get a chance at the pirates before they realize we're coming."

"Navigator, make our exit point at the edge of the system - say roughly 40 AU's from the primary on the opposite side of the system from Vilia 4. We want to observe for a while without being seen. With luck, we might even be able to surprise the pirates."

"Exit warp 40 AU's from the primary on the opposite side of the system from Vilia 4," the Navigator repeated...

This week with Arlene and Jeff:

...When they entered the training area, the aliens were nervous, even though they had toured the room before. "Each of you choose a couch," Jeff instructed. "It doesn't matter which one you choose, and you don't have to use the same one the next time. The couches are just that - couches where you can lie back and relax your body while your mind takes up your duties at Ship's Academy. When you enter the Academy, she will give you a memory quite different from your own background. It will seem real, and for all practical purposes, it will be.

"Go ahead," he instructed, motioning, "lie down and try out a couch. The choice doesn't matter - they are all the same. Ship tells me that the first Academy session will last for six weeks Academy time, after which, you will be given a break."

There were several comments from the aliens about the couches being super comfortable.

When they all settled in, "Nighty night," the Prime said with a grin as he gave Ship permission to begin.

"Wha…" the First managed as he and the others slumped into a deep sleep.

"How long will they be out," Jeff asked Ship.

"I have divided the first six weeks of the Academy into three, two-hour segments. Every two hours our time, I will allow them to return to a semi-awake state to use the restroom and eat a light meal. They will, of course, not remember anything other than the Academy. After the first six weeks Academy time, I will give them a longer break before returning to the Academy to continue their education. That routine will continue until they complete their training, just as I did and am continuing to do with you and your wives...

This week with Arlene and Jeff:

..."Does your male not demand a sex chair?" the alien asked.

"Sex chair?" Diana wondered aloud.

"Yes, a padded chair with no arms that can be raised or lowered and configured for sex."

"We have many seats in the living room and some in here as well," Arlene said as she motioned, "but the chairs aren't designed specifically for sex. We usually have sex on the bed."

"We, too, have seats designed only for sitting," the woman responded as she noted the many seats scattered around the giant bedroom, "but the sex chair can be used for either; however, I doubt that those can," she said, pointing.

"Oh, you would be surprised," Caitlin answered with a grin. Then motioning, "That seat with the big padded arms is just the right height for me to lean over while my husband takes me from behind."

The alien woman turned to stare at Caitlin. "It seems that the man would have a problem reaching the woman, but I suppose that is his problem. Fortunately, our males do not bother us too often and usually require the female to be lying on her back."

Caitlin's grin got bigger. "Oh, trust me; it's no bother to us for our husband to have sex with us. Many times, we are the ones who instigate it. Frequently during the day, we manage to get him alone, or with only a wife or two, for some extra loving," she finished as she winked at her husband...

This week with Arlene and Jeff:

..."Simple question," Jeff said as they met. "Have any of the women you had on the Raider ever been outside?"

The First was shaking his head. "No, none of the women ever go outside. There is no reason for them to do that."

"What about when they are moved from one place to another? Surely they…"

"They are picked up as a group in a female module and transported to where they are needed. The female modules are all the same, as are their residences and sex areas. The module is designed to lock onto the female area. When they are aboard, the hatch is closed until they reach their destination, and the process is reversed."

"Do you mean to tell me they have never seen the sky?"

The First thought for a moment. "Well, I suppose there is no need. All are transported the same way. It is standardized. Why should things be different one place from another?"

"Oh, shit, and we almost walked outside with them."...
