I've a problem with the last few paragraphs: I can't locate where the bolding is coming from.
I've just posted the first part of "Andy." I expect there to be two more chapters. Enjoy!
Well, over 30 of you responded. The results:
one tale: 8
three tales: 19
don't care / whatever: 7
and one respondent suggested two, the break being at Gordy's father.
The clear consensus is for three stories.
Thank you all.
Today, January 26, is Australia Day, which celebrates the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788, and the introduction of disease, drunkenness and oppression to the Aboriginal population.
Many readers have been extremely helpful over the years. I now have a query which may appear silly: Should the current tale terminate soon (as I had originally intended) or should it trace the Hollisters from Henry to Gordy? My original intent was to write three stories of 6-8 chapters (Henry was born in 1882; Gordy in 1958).
So ... one story or three?
