Chapter 8 is in the hopper for posting. I know it is a bit short, but hopefully it helps begin to move the story forward. Don't worry, I plan on the next section to be longer.

So, this story has really gripped me. I would like to say a few things about it though.

First of all, I am not very good and proof reading my own stories for typos and spellcheck wrong words. I apologize for this but even as I read over what I have written, my mind just fills in the correct words for me. I am hoping to find a editor, but with the TS code I'm a bit nervous to start blindly reaching out, as I know it can be a bit niche.

I also want to make a quick shout out to A Strange Geek for his Haven series. I am sure there are probably a few similar themes and a bit of similar word usage to what he has written. This is because I absolutely love that series and have actually read all the novels through at least twice. If you read this A Strange Geek, please recognize it for what it is, another author paying you respect for your wonderful stories and the way you tell them. If you feel I have stepped on your toes, please let me know and I will try to adjust accordingly.

Again, thank you to everyone who has been reading this and I hope to continue for quite a bit with this story. Though, it may not always move at this rapid of a pace. I will have to sleep some time.

So I know it has been 5 years since I have posted anything. However, life has finally calmed down. Right on the heels of the job change I mentioned in 2012 my daughter was born. I know it has been quite a while since I have added anything to this story, so I have re-read it and updated and reposted the three chapters that were already uploaded. I have also outlined at least six more chapters. I have written Chapter 4 where a bit of action begins. I hope to continue to add chapters, but don't want to set any time frame expectations until I know better how often I get to work on this. I hope old readers are willing to try again with me and that I can find some new readers. Please let me know what you think as comments will likely keep me going.

I have just found out at the end of last week that the location I have worked at for the past three years is closing down this week. I am planning on continuing the story, but at the moment I need to scramble and find a new job. Hopefully this will only take a few weeks at most. I may still find time to write in the evenings but no promises. I will post an update here when I know what is going on and can devote more time to telling Patrick's story.

Chapter 3 has been submitted to the queue. I want to thank both R.P.A.M and fuzzywuzzy for proofing and editing this chapter for me. I think between the two of them this chapter should be mostly error free :)
