OK Folks, there were some grammatical errors not caught the first time through. Thanks to the work of GJB who has an Aussie email, many small errors have been corrected. Several more readers have participated in getting this work corrected.
I will be getting one of my English teacher friends to look the chapters over and then I'll repost. And yes, one reader did correct the Red Roof Inn gaff. It is now Motel 6 as it should be. And they will still leave the light on for you.

Well we made it. And judging by the reception there has to be more to this story. Sequel time. The author did leave some clues and alternate routes, didn't I.?!??

There will be more of Clint and Janie. And after all, Clint now has a watch. I wonder what the extra buttons are for??? Well, Old Man, we will have to see what we shall see. I still think they should make where they are their home base. Especially with the looming possibility of children entering in.

So here it is, my attempt at a short story. Gunslinger stars Clint and Janie, acquaintances really, who become much more in this time travel tale of the Old West.

Thank you! All I can say is WOW! The response to the prologue has been overwhelming. Now I've got to live up to the promise! Remember this is about time travel and relativity! Anything is possible.

I am using the premise so aptly propagated by Old Man with a Pen and his Wendy Universe with permission. I highly recommend his work, but start from the very beginning, as in earliest dated work!
As a Bonus to the response on the Prologue, I will deviate from my normal once a week post and Chapter One will be posted in time for your Labor Day reading pleasure.

I blatantly stole the idea from several writers, and a couple of movies. A kid gets/finds/buys a watch, or did he. There was more than even he could ever imagine tied to it. The story will start slow, but let's see where it takes us. I decided to write one without blatant sex. There may be innuendo or the like, but no push it in and start stroking. I'm a few chapters ahead right now, but we will have to wait and see if I can stay that way. Busy time for me. As always, thanks for reading and thanks to TeNderLoin for editing.
