Do to realworld responsibilities it took longer than I'd hoped. Once I started to compare the story on line with the edit file I should have posted I found elements I tweaked. I am truly sorry to expose the members to one of my raw versions of this chapter.
If you haven't started reading chapter 59, I suggest you wait for the update. The version now posted is rough with missing words and the like. I'm sorry to you through this again. I was excited to get the chapter up and this is what happened. Could be I'm getting older as well!
Started reading the latest posting of Code Monkey only to discover it's not the final edit. I'm leaving it up, but I will update the chapter with the edited version as soon as I can. Sorry.
A long time coming, but chapter 59 is with the moderators. Since I've been gone I've done a lot of writing, but none of the work was fiction. I played in a band through the early 80's that was signed by a music lable out of NYC. Two years ago we got back together just to jam from time to time. Some of us wrote new songs and we took them into a recording studio, and in our spare time started recording three songs. Next, our singing keyboard, sax, flute playing albino had to have his foot removed and is in for a long recovery. Getting to work seems to be all he can manage. Then our drummer's MS abvanced to the point his kick drum foot couldn't keep up and after 40 minutes he couldn't focus well enough to play anything and he quit. We found a new drummer who can really sing. We found a lead singer who can really sing. I've written four more new songs. Our guitar player finished a new song. We're starting to learn them at our weekly practices.
Now that the sun is back my focus on writting Code Monkey is back. Sorry it's taken so long. Thank you so much for your support.
Working on the next chapter of Code Monkey and hope to be able to add to the story soon.
