Hey folks,

Part III of Learning Curves wraps today with a three-chapter flurry.

There will be no post on Friday. Part IV will begin next Monday, July 24.

For those who have noted the overt sexuality in the story, today probably won't do much to alleviate your fears. This is probably my most explicit story since Daze in the Valley all those years ago.

But, as always, I tried to mix some plot and character development into the erotic sections.

The simplest explanation: College-age kids fuck. At least they did when I was in college 30 years ago and I can't imagine that the rise of the Internet has slowed things down.

So, yeah, in a story set in college ... the characters do a lot of exploring and experimenting with their sexuality. They're not 30-year-olds who have their entire life mapped out (and all the fun parts behind them).

They're kids doing what kids do and making the mistakes kids make.

I hope the readers enjoy the final three chapters of Part III of Learning Curves.

The title isn't just a brilliant line from a Jimmy Buffet song ... it's the story of my life.

I had intended to post a bonus chapter on Tuesday to celebrate the Fourth of July.

I got distracted and I forgot.

So I decided I would just post it when I got back from vacation on Wednesday.

It seems my ability to do more than one thing at a time has deteriorated as my age has increased. It also seems, at least according to my wife, that I am becoming more childish every day, too.

I'd call it a fair trade. I enjoyed being a child.

Anyway, readers will get three chapters today, two Monday (7-10) and next Friday (7-14) and three the following Monday (7-17) as we conclude Part III of Learning Curves.

I will be taking a few days respite before staring Part IV on Monday, July 24th.

Summer is my favorite time of year. My wife is relatively unencumbered by work; the kids are off school; the weather is nice; vacation is looming in three days (tick, tock).

I will have 11 days to annoy, cajole and infuriate my family with my mere presence. Life is sweet!
