Tales from an ex-brat.

The next story in the series is scheduled to post on 1st June.
In celebration of the forthcoming Summer Olympics in Rio I have taken the opportunity to recount some of my sporting triumphs.
It is a short story.

Cheers the noo.

May Day

'Gone with the wind' is the next story in the series 'Tales from an Ex Brat', and should be posted on SOL on May Day.

I did not anticipate there being a great appetite for the series and so have not been disappointed. No matter, the object of the exercise was to kick start me in continuing the latest book in the series A Poacher's Progress, and I can report a slight stirring on the inclination front.
It is the time of year when a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love, and an old man's turns to - well, whatever floats his boat. Anchors aweigh!

Cheers the noo.

Tale #4

I will be spending the coming weekend on the Costa del Dorset, and have placed the next story in the series 'Tales from an ex brat' in the SOL queue for posting on Friday, All Fools Day. There could be a considerable delay before any more of my stuff gets posted.

Tale #3

I hope to post the next entry in the series 'Tales from an ex Brat' on Tuesday 1st March, aka Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant, Saint David's Day.

This short story includes a reason why in certain circumstances smoking can be of benefit, and an account of a close encounter with a mephitic farmer.

Another month, another tale.

I shall be posting the next story in the series Tales from an Ex Brat on the 1st February. This is a cautionary tale, warning of the dangers of passive smoking.

Resurrecting these tales is something of a break from the wip, book four of the series Poacher's Progress. So far it has been a case of one step forward and two steps back -- on a good day two steps forward and one and a half steps back - unfortunately I haven't had too many good days of late.
I have rewritten the current chapter, #17, several times and at last there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope it is not an approaching train.

Best regards
Jack G
