Got slowed down a bit by some other projects, and tonight we're getting hammered (again) by sub-zero(F) temps. Supposed to see a -30 wind chill factor, and this old house doesn't make for just sitting around doing nothing! (Think: glass of water freezes on the window ledge in the bedroom!) Pixels freeze at these temps! And it was +40F this morning!
But we'll get thawed out and back in gear before too much longer -- I'm anxious to see what Kay and Rob are up to!

Taking advantage of our current deep freeze up here in the snowy northeast to get some writing (and reading) done. Hoping to not have to thaw out any pipes in the morning, maybe get some more done then.
In the meantime, hope you enjoy chapter 14 -- it's a little longer as requested, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Thanks for the comments! Gonna take the afternoon and go over chapter 12 -- I had written that some time ago, after having an MRI myself, and thought it might fit here. Was originally a dialog, and I missed some punctuation in the conversion. I'll address that posthaste.
Still getting the "copying and competing" comments from some -- and no, I still don't feel the need to do that. I thought this was a very interesting story idea, and with Oyster's (and Handyman's) permission I decided to see what I can do with it.
If you like it you can keep reading it. Period.

Okay, was tired and in a hurry, but that's no excuse for completely blowing my proof reading for chapter 12! I'll go back and clean it up when I figure out how to do that.
Anyway, had a very nice Christmas, and now looking forward to a quiet New Year's Eve. My 'Kaitlyn' and I (47 years this month) are gonna fix a nice standing rib roast, with garlic mashed potatoes, and maybe a big pot of N.E.Clam Chowdah for an appetizer. Might even get some writing done!
