The rescue has left a lot of loose ends. This is the start of tying them up.
Thanks to all who've stayed with me, and those, as well, who've picked up the full texts of Amazon rather than wait for the day-by-day postings. It's very gratifying to an author to gain interested readers. It's kind of why I (and I expect all of us) write.
And that's how it was done. The rescue operation successfully concluded, without the bloodbath that Miller wanted to foment. A non-military solution, but one that worked a lot more happily than a military one might have.
I'm sure you readers have had enough of cowboy Miller, just as Igwanda has. By the way, don't try his defensive move on your friends, it doesn't work unless you're a whole lot qicker, and a whole lot stronger, than most of us.
As if conflict with the Edenites wasn't enough, Miller precipitates conflict within the human community as well.
Time to mount a rescue mission. But how? Rescuing on Eden doesn't follow the same rules as on Earth.
