Further adventures of our Victorian Hero! Last time when I mentioned voting, I mean you all had to give me a 10 - but most of you seemed to so thank you anyway - but that you should all vote for every story you read, it takes about 2 seconds at the end of the story.
Since Jake has this time visited America I'm sure there may be corrections. Last time (actually chapter 14) it was pointed out that the undersea telegraph cable that Jake 'used' had failed, so I managed to overcome that.

Well there we are, chapter 15. I haven't done anything to the Ned Kelly series for a long time and then the other day Coullpert mailed me with a few typos and some grammatic corrections and so I worked through and put these right - I haven't reposted yet - and so I re-read the tales and remembered that there was an unfinished story line. I enjoyed it, seems a good read to me so I've started writing more of it. I have a file which is made up of all the stories in chronological order, so I may post that as well. The other thing is that Jake has had 3 votes in the last month. I wouldn't have noticed but it got to 997 and it is now on 1000. I really don't care how crap a story is - VOTE, it's the only thing authors get out of it. I read - I vote.

Or indeed a list of characters. I have been asked for this and whilst I wouldn't provide it if I were writing a normal novel when you are publishing in episodes at random intervals even I forget who the hell is who!

I have also provided some background and some notes on pronouncing Welsh names and some meanings as a matter of interest. I have no doubt that Welsh scholars will find something to disagree with!

No doubt everyone, two or three of you anyway, are waiting for me to post more Jake White, but I thought I'd just do this little thing to get my fingers working again before I get into it. If J K Rowling can write about village life why not me?

For those of you who thought I'd left a cliff hanger with no solution that is not the reason why this has taken a while. First I buggered up another finger - router this time, very stupid. Then having got a fair bit written I stopped because I had a crisis of whatever and didn't think it was up to scratch. And then eventually I thought I leave it to you to decide, so if I see the score sliding it'll be back to my school reports, must do better. Every time I think that I have run out of adventures for Jake yet another one comes into my mind, so you may look forward to more, but as ever don't ask when.
