Oh dear oh dear. I added in a quite necessary character (Farquarson) without a proper intro. So I've added him to the passenger list and republished. I haven't said more because if you haven't read it I don't want to spoil it and if you have, well, you'll know.
40 is coming along, all I'll say about it is that you'll have to open that little drawer at the back of your computer to empty the bodies out
It's over a year since I wrote anything. Life seems to have intervened but then this idea occured to me and I enjoyed it as I started, just something small... like, girl has dog, introduces sister to same, mother walks in and says she'd like grandkids but she'll settle for a puppy. Well it didn't work out like that and I really don't know where it all came from. But there it is, as ever the narrative has gone off on a tangent all by itself and I just had to follow on.
Bother. Or something stronger. For anyone who noticed one or two editing errors sorry. hopefully I've got them now

I've been reading this story from the beginning so that I can re-familiarise myself with characters and plot. Why? Well I was reading The Miss Fisher Mysteries, and even the bloody cat has changed sex, and I think continuity is rather important. Anyway, here we have the answer to does Jake get strung up. Enjoy.
