Pretty Lucy finds this practice abhorrent, but she tries so hard to live up to the expectations of her rich and worldly fiance. But the heart, as we know, is often a shoddy advisor, and bad things tend to happen to the people who least deserve it...

College student Cindy, broke and too proud to admit to her best friend that she's living out of her car, finds an ad for free room and board on the billboard. The conditions sound sleazy, but the idea of having to provide certain services to her roommates/landlords instead of rent plays along these stories she used to read in her guilt-ridden pursuits of self-inflicted pleasure. She might bite off more than she can chew, but the first tastes are intense and delicious.

When tall, handsome William poses the question, it's not what petite, inexperienced Billie expected. Yes, he wants her, but not as the partner in a fluffy romance. Yet her broken heart won't let go, even when she glimpses the darkness looming ahead. She needs to make a decision. As decisions of the heart often go, they are rarely reasonable, and sometimes insane.
