There have been a rash of kidnappings of businessmen visiting the country of Teal. Jade Force, seeing an opportunity to replenish the war chest, takes on the gang of kidnappers.

It is a harsh cruel world in which danger lurks for the unwary. After a small town is wiped out, ten families sign the Pfand X, the pledge of ten, in which they promise to support and help each other in good times and bad. After 18 generations, the families of the Pfand X are once again threatened.

A Story in the Damsels In Distress Universe
On Earth, Sid is a college student who has a very odd uncle. When his uncle dies and leaves him his house, Sid learns that he has inherited more than a home. In the closet of the study is a portal to the planet Crossroads and his caretaker, Sally. From Crossroads is a portal to Chaos, a planet with Damsels in Distress. It is up to Sid to rescue the poor Damsels in Distress and claim his heroic rewards. / (Reviews)

The world has lots of water with ships transporting goods from one place to another. With so much shipping piracy can easily become a major international problem. Cartoom has become home to a major nest of pirates. Jade Force is called upon to end the problem.

The Quatyl are small and cute. With their short stubby legs, very soft fur, and small mouths they are basically defenseless. Did I mention that they are cute? They are very cute. They are also the most feared space faring race in the galaxy because they can telepathically control every species they've ever encountered. Oh, by the way, they just discovered the Earth.

The ugliness of war isn't constrained to the fighting between the antagonists and protagonists. There are others caught up in a war, like the people who flee from the war zone and those who are tasked to take care of them.
