Stultus: Stories

A flash story about a grievously wronged lover and his eventual exacted revenge. Any codes are incidental.

A Love in Lovett County Story
Part of the Wold Stultus universe
An old Hobo protects and teaches a new kid a few tricks of the road and the rails and resolves to quit his search for his 'Hobo's Paradise', and perhaps make one for himself instead in a place of opportunity in Lovett County. The story has virtually no sex and none that is graphic.

The programming director of the media company owned by 'The Most Fascinating Man in the World' decides to raise ratings by selecting the 1000 most glamorous women in the world for him to choose from. Like most reality TV, nothing quite ends up the way it is supposed to. A humorous and romantic tale with no explicit sex.

A Christmas Story
An office holiday party from Hell leads to unexpected romance. A fairly short romantic story with virtually no sex and some humor. A return posting of an older holiday story that was removed several years ago.

Benjamin Ludwig von Baad was born totally screwed; his evil family has been cursed by multiple generations of 'good' Fairy-Godmothers. His mother the Queen has been burned to the stake as a witch, and his wicked father the Petty King of Baad has a appointment with the High-King's Headsman. Not to mention that the deepest dungeon cell is waiting for the very last surviving heir of the cursed Baad family. 'Evil Prince Ben' is in dire need of a friend… and some means of turning his luck around

A roguish thief, noble cad (and indeed a bounder) uses his magical gift much against his inclinations to obtain justice and work for a good cause. He now finds himself upon an entirely different sort of career path than he would have preferred, one now of honor and integrity - much to his shock and dismay! Starts slow... as always

Valentines Day 2023 Entry
A semi-retired surf bum inherits a beach front house on Malibu and finds that he has interesting neighbors, including a reclusive former musician with eyes of the color of the sands and sea, and find that now later in life they’re both looking for a lover to court and spark.

A Story in the Jake's Merle Haggard Invitational Universe
A discouraged bear research biologist in a remote wilderness National Park discovers that his rich society wife no longer loves him and has left him for another man. This makes him feel like a bit of a loser, until he discovers the reason why she now suddenly wants to have an reconciliation. Will he fall or will he climb once again to even greater heights?

When an unlucky small-time thief gets caught in-between powerful forces beyond his control, can even the blessing of Lady Luck herself be enough to save him - or transform an indifferent petty criminal into a reluctant hero? An unusual story of Silver-Age crime noire and super-heroines. Starts slow... no sex until later chapters

A selfish and scheming wife Amy thinks she has the perfect plan to get her lucrative divorce and then live a life of pampered luxury. Life is indeed full of choices. My first (and poorest) SOL story intended as a non-serious pastiche of a 'cheating wife' story
