Evolution (1) Caleb Connor's life is out of control: understatement! An extraterrestrial space ship crashed on his campsite, and an ancient, ethereal alien took up residence in his head. He doesn't get along with the alien, partially because the alien thinks he landed in a defective human. Preparing for Aliens aren't the only challenge the host/Companion cadre face. Robert Branch (AKA Abdul Ali Hassan) is loose in the world, and he is inhabited by a Demon, the antithesis of Companions. Evolution (2) Most of the Connor clan hosting Companions have moved to Texas. It has been a year since the fateful space ship crash. The ethereal alien that survived, opening a portal allowing more Companions into this universe, has been finding ways to protect the hosts. General Branch is still at large. When Branch resurfaces with terrorists, he is focused on revenge. A kidnapping causes a different portal opening, and the beings that enter this universe are not the benign Companions that Caleb knows. / (Reviews)
Many years of peace followed Sean's rescue. Peaceful if you didn't count training, and interference by the Wizard's Council. The Council voted to delay the young Magi joining the Council and required a quest due to their immaturity. They decided to join 'normal' society with their extra time. The Prescott High School would never be the same. They could decide if the unpleasant task of completing the quest and joining the Council was really desirable. Do we always have choices in life?
Uncle Bill was only dropping off some family items for his obnoxious sister-in-law and any time he visited his sister-in-law he brought something for his niece. He didn’t have much time because he had to be at a job site about 40 miles away in the morning. Bill had hotel reservations and he wanted some time to unwind at a local massage parlor this evening.
