Dark Apostle: Stories

Based on the show Silo, where "James" is Solo, you don’t need to watch the series to understand what’s unfolding. I wrote this piece a while ago, and like the stories I’m slowly working through, it has been revised and polished. I used AI to enhance the draft, and Steven’s wonderful editing skills fixed the remaining mistakes. This is my love letter to Rebecca Ferguson, an absolute goddess in my humble opinion.

James spots a burning wagon train, he goes there, finds three women, rescues them. One story, one and done, while I wait for New world chapter 5. The women are based off characters from 1883.

James finds a magical book, reads from it and ends up in a medieval fantasy world. Now, with what he knows from our world, he must survive. Its adapt, or die in this medieval fantasy.

James stumbles across an enigmatic website one night, which he thinks is a joke, an online fantasy promising total control, absolute obedience. Drunk and horny, he signs up the women in his family. Nothing happens, for a week, until one day a limousine pulls up and he's introduced to his new slaves.

I always wondered what happened after the show, this is my attempt, if you spot any massive errors, or even little ones, let me know. The first twenty-four hours were a descent into raw, unfiltered horror. James had expected some jolt, some flicker of awakening from a life scripted down to the last breath, but nothing prepared him for the assault of the real. The car-park doors slid open and the outside world slammed into him like a physical blow.

One shot I wrote a long time ago, won't be continued, but fun. No sex. James rescues a vampire from a car crash and gets introduced to their world.

200 years after the destruction of Pompeii, James finds a blue box in the middle of a market square. Not edited.

Sometimes you've got to go back to actually move forward, and I don't mean going back to reminisce or chase ghosts. I mean going back to see where you came from, where you been and how you got here, to see where you're going. I know there are those that say you can't go back: Yes you can, you just have to look in the right place.
