I wrote this after I wrote the first seven chapters of The Visitor. It was meant to be a continuation. But then I decided I didn't like where it was going so I started over with a new Chapter 8 on the original story. Initially, I was going to delete this version but enough people have read it, so I left it as a stand-alone story - sort of.
If you have read this and liked it, then read Chapters 1 - 7 of The Visitor if you want to read its prequel. Otherwise, look at these as Chapter 7a, 7b, 7c, & 7d - Bruce's Dream sequence, then continue on with Chapter 8 of the Visitor. My apologies to those who find this confusing.
