Joe was having one of the worst weeks of his life. His girlfriend left him with "I think we should start seeing other people" which roughly translated into "I found a guy hotter than you I want to bang." On top of that, he was let go by his company because of "funding cutbacks" on a Friday. At least he received his last paycheck. As he headed home from work all he could think was, "This has been a completely messed up week." He called a few friends to see if their companies were hiring, but to no avail. Eric, the last guy he called had mentioned there was a new club in town over on 9th street and that he should check it out. "Well," Joe thought, "I don't have much else going on. Why not?"
Joe told Eric he would see him there around 9pm or so. Eric said, "Sure. See you then."
Joe went home and checked out what he had to do for unemployment claims and do some initial job hunting, while cleaning up his current resume. Fortunately, he had just paid rent and utilities, so had a little breathing room till the beginning of next month. He made himself a microwave dinner and ate alone in his apartment, cursing his ex girlfriend between bites. "Damn pencil thin bitch. What did I see in her anyway? I should have known."
Joe got a shower, cleaned himself up and headed out the door. He stopped by the ATM to pull some cash and headed down to the club. The club was called "The Scene" and it was jumping. There was a line around the block already, and the place had just opened. As he was heading towards the line, he saw his friend Eric who yelled and waved to him.
"Hey Joe, over here."
"Hey, Eric, thanks man."
"No problem. Sorry about the work and the girlfriend."
"Thanks. I'm thinking losing the job was worse than losing Becky."
"Yeah. I'm not going to lie; she's tried to hit on me a couple of times."
"Figures as much. I'm not mad at you, just should have seen it."
"Well, it happens, but hey, let's have a good time. Maybe you'll get lucky."
"Sounds good to me."
They got inside, found a table and got something to drink. While at the table, they checked out the scene. A lot of the girls there reminded Joe of Becky. They all looked about the same, following the popular clothes trends. While Joe was making a sweep of the place again, he noticed a girl, a different girl. She wasn't like the rest. She was as tall as the rest of the girls, even in heels, but she was bigger, much bigger. She must have weighed as much as two of the "trendy" girls. She had curves though, real curves. Joe could tell she had a big ass and large tits, but as she walked towards the dance floor, he noticed she did have an hour glass figure. And she was going out to the dance floor by herself. Joe was intrigued by her, and wanted to meet her. As he left the table he told Eric, "Eric, I see a girl I want to meet, I'll catch up with you later."
Eric didn't see what Joe saw, but he responded, "Sounds good buddy. Best of luck."
Joe moved out to the dance floor and worked his way through the crowd to her. He finally found her, in a slinky green party dress that accentuated her every curve; she had auburn hair flowing down to her shoulders over creamy skin. He finally said, "Hi, can I dance with you?"
She seemed a little put off at first, but finally said, "Sure, if you want."
"Thanks. My name is Joe and your name is?"
"Catherine, but you can call me Cat."
Joe thought about making a cat reference, but refrained and said, "That's a pretty name for a pretty woman."
Catherine blushed at this a little. They started to dance. The more they danced, the more Joe wanted to take her home. Here was a woman that was so different from the normal, it intrigued and aroused him. She did have a pretty smile, and pretty legs. Joe though she was hot. He had never been turned on by a "big" girl before, but Joe began thinking, "She's hot and I want her so bad. I just need to not screw this up."
After a bit of dancing Joe led Catherine over to a secluded table in the corner and ordered them both drinks.
"So, Cat, are you seeing anyone?"
"No. My boyfriend just left me because 'I'm TOO big.'"
"Hmm. Shame on him, I think you look great in your dress."
This made her blush a little, but stayed on the defensive a little. "Joe, are you seeing anyone?"
"No. Oddly enough my girlfriend just left because she wanted to see other people."
"Was she cute?"
"Eh. She looked a lot like all the other girls that are here, trendy, flimsy and shallow."
"Ah. I see."
They talked some more about work, or lack thereof, in Joe's case, and she mentioned they may be hiring at their company. Joe thanked her and got the information. Finally Joe got his courage up and asked, "You want to head out of here and go somewhere more intimate?"
Catherine thought about this for a moment. She hadn't had sex since her boyfriend left and Joe did seem cute and sincere. She decided to give it a chance, "Sure. What did you have in mind?"
