Romantic Sex Story: Two beautiful high school juniors meet in a Pennsylvania small town. One sustains a continuous smile while the other sustains a frown. The odd friendship blossoms into true love. The beauty and power of these remarkable young women ends up not just ameliorating their lives, but many others whom they encounter over the next three or so years. MM isn't explicit. Neither is rape, though it's integral to the story.
Note: I intended to update the cynical nearly three hundred year old Candide by Voltaire in which he made fun of the overly cheerful concept of this being the best of all possible worlds. A very sixties movie attempted such a thing as well using a female protagonist named Candy. The essential concept places the protagonist in horrible situations and despite the horror, the hero keeps his/her smile. Unfortunately I ended up liking Melissa and not feeling in the slightest condescending towards her, screwing up the whole premise. Instead of Sarah presenting the cruelty of the real world, Melissa almost immediately vanquishes Sarah's sour viewpoint. Perhaps I figured the present world needs happy thoughts and happy endings. Of course, being erotica, this story/novel is fantasy.
