The beach house Jamie and Drew rented for a week, got a good price, close to the beach, it was clean, but...
“Drew, can you believe this bathroom?”
“What? What’s wrong? Is the toilet...”
“Nothing like that. But look at it. It’s so bland.”
“Hm. Yeah, I guess, but if the toilet works...”
“I know. And the water runs good and it’s hot. And it’s nice and clean and everything, but...”
“Maybe after we unpack our stuff. You know, put in the toothbrushes and...”
“I suppose.”
The toothbrushes etc. didn’t really liven the place up.
Drew said, “It’s not like we need pizzazz or anything when we take a piss. Maybe gray is good for meditation. Does the window open?”
Jamie sighed. “It’s just so institutional. Forgive me for wanting it to be fun.”
“Sometimes you have to make your own fun,” Drew said.
“Great idea,” Jamie said.
“You scoff,” Drew said.
“No, really. Watch this for fun.”
