Emma got Daniel to agree to try out for the ballet the church was putting on for the holidays.
“I’m still not sure about this,” Daniel confessed.
“Too late to back out now,” Emma informed him. “The costumes I ordered have already arrived. Try yours on.”
“Might be a little snug,” Daniel said after he’d pulled on the tights.
“They’re supposed to be,” Emma assured him.
“Okay, but what’s with the shears?” Daniel asked.
“Wardrobe adjustments,” Emma said. “I’ve already snipped the excess off my dress. Breatheability can be vital in ballet. Now I’m going to do away with some of the snugness you complained about.”
“I’m not sure about this,” Daniel said.
