Nils said, “I have some questions.”

The identical Emmas gave him identical quizzical smiles.

“So if I understand this right, you guys know everything about each other. And if one of you feels something, the other one feels it too.”

One Emma nodded, the other shrugged. Then the other nodded and the first one shrugged. Then they both grinned.

“So if one of you goes outside in the rain and the other one stays inside, you’d both get wet?”

They looked at him calmly. “We’re both wet right now,” they both said.

“With your fuck juice,” they said.

“But what happens if one of you got pregnant?”

The Emmas looked at each other. They moved closer to each other. Closer and closer. They bodies pressed together. Staring into each other’s eyes, they each lifted a foot, and the feet touched.

They kissed. It was a long slow kiss. At the end of it, there was only one Emma.

“Now see what you’ve done,” Emma said to Nils.

“I didn’t...” Nils started to say.

Emma shushed him. “If I have twins, I’m naming them both after you.”
