Izzy sat in a chair outside the tailor shop, knitting and waiting impatiently. She glanced down the road frequently.
It had been three months ago - four days after her twenty-sixth birthday - that she had given the down payment to the travelling merchant. Now, the radio operator had told her that the merchant was on his way here, to Appa. After three months, Izzy would finally receive her birthday present to herself.
