Meaning of life
A short word that carries so much meaning
And filled with so much
Laughter hope grief love wonder
There are those who say
I’d give my life for you
Or I’ll die for you
But what they mean is they
Would give up their life for you
A single moment and then done
What I say is I will give my life to you
I will give up things that make me happy
So you can have happiness
For ultimately your happiness is mine
Day after day I will think of you first
How will this help my love
What can I do to make things easier for my love
For the choice day after day to put her first
To lighten her load
Is the true way to give up your life to someone
But still I feel I get more out of it
For to join your life to someone
Is not a sacrifice
That is why I believe
