Author’s Note: I’ve taken some poetic licence in the list of survival pack items in this story, because it’s just too hard to get a real list of what’s currently in the ones used by the USAF and RAAF. Nor have I sought out the exact radio procedures they use today. Also, I’ve not named the Indian tribe due to issues I had in getting specific data on the family and social structure of the local tribes. So I used researched data on the major tribes from further east in the New Mexico Territory of that period.
