1: Tired of Being the Nice Guy by MWTB
Good characters and story progression. Moderately believable. Very little drama, but you're rooting for the characters all the way.
2: Third Time's the Charm by Xalir
This is definitely Xalir's best work. Be prepared to cry. The pivotal piece of the plot is the death of an important character. That event and character haunt the story and tug at you throughout. Definitely not a sex story. I think the first sex scene is 3/4 through the story. If you like dramatic stories with strong, but sensitive male leads, this is a good story for you.
3: Opus One by Ryan Sylander
This is an excellently crafted story of three young music students and their challenges and growth during their first year at conservatory (college). The dialogue genuine and natural. The characters are very three dimensional and emotional. Ultimately, the story is very poignant and fulfilling and even uplifting. If you're looking for a very romantic and compelling read take a look at this story.
4: The Defenceman by Cold Creek
This was a fun coming of age story. It follows an eighteen year old self-professed geek through his first year of college. Turns out he is a naturally gifted hockey player. He also has a penchant for encountering damsels in distress. Plus, he's handsome and charming. He get's his heart broken and struggles to balance school, hockey and romance. A little too much hockey content. Also beware, part 3 of the story isn't quite complete, so be prepared. It was updated for the first time in four years in December 2018.
5: Two and a Half Bitches by FantasyLover
It's a pretty good story. Part coming of age, part action & adventure. It's actually a bit light on the sex side. A fast moving story with a good balance of action and character development.
6: The Bitch by Mister NiceGuy
Very pleasant romantic story. High level of believability. Sometimes it feels a little slow and redundant, but the story keeps moving along. The only thing keeping it from getting a 10/10 is the lack of real drama. There are a few incidents of mild drama, but nothing too heavy.
7: Mural by aroslav
This is a great love story about a triple. It's light hearted and tender. It's a "journal" story told from the perspective of the male lead, a freshman artist in college. If you like Opus One by Ryan Sylander, you'll like this very similar story. Similar setting, similar subject, with a couple of differences - a little sports and an older second lead character.
8: POW (Prisoner Of The Widows) by Joe J
It's a very sweet and tender story about a military pilot who winds up with several wives when he is shot down in western Iraq. Joe J focuses on story and characters, but includes solid love scenes. Ultimately it is a happy tale with a few points of tension to keep it interesting.
9: Menagerie by Wolfdragon76
Mostly a lighthearted stroke story. A fun read about a billionaire with a private island and a harem of loving sex slaves. A small amount of tension and violence. If you are a grammar stickler like me, you may find it a bit annoying. There are at least half a dozen grammar errors per chapter.
