Straight romance, no cheating/swinging

BrandonInOhio ๐Ÿšซ

Hi all,
Looking for a long form story thats a good old fashioned romance story that features zero cheating/swinging/multiple partners.

Im looking for something like the grim reaper series, a fresh start, the jack pierce stories. I'm completely worn out on guys being with as many girls as humanly possible. Also tired of polyamory. Don Lockwoods dance of a lifetime was spoiled for me by the swinging scene. Still great, just was a bummer for me.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty much everything from oyster50. He only has a few with 2 girls. Start at the beginning and read them in order.

Hmm, looks to me you both have his Smart Girls series in mind.

Most of his other stories meet your criteria too:
Carlie; Crunch; Details Matter; Dorable; Hurricane, Laura; Jan; Lena; Park This!; Road Rash; Serendipity; Swamped Fox; Smooth Move; Little Heaven.

HM.

If you read my post, I wasn't limiting it to the Smart Girls.

That is actually rare in Don Lockwood's stories, so most of the others would be suitable. You wouldn't like "Jared and Amanda" or "Chuck and Maggie" or "What Do You Dream Of", and probably not "The Agreement."

EzzyB's first story, "Rebecca Danced," is similar, but the sequels have much less romance (or sex).

Definitely read the rebecca danced series. I think it needed more fleshing out in all 3 of them. One of those cases where a lot more length would have helped. There was a lot happening in, particularly in the 2nd akd 3rd book.

Check out 'The Lady in Red' series by HardDays Knight.

[If you are diabetic make sure you have your insulin handy - it gets pretty sugary at times. :-)

Now that I'm thinking about the story I think I'm going to reread it for the nth time.

It is on my list. Ive been sort of holding back because the descriptions make it sound like its way out there. Is it as crazy as the descriptions make it seem? Kind of sounds like there is one insane thing after another.
I'd probably enjoy it, just doesnt seem to fit what im looking for right now. Please let me know if im way off

It's sort of a sugary snack-type novel. The main characters are so capable, talented and moral, they overcome every obstacle and adversary (which seem to pop up conveniently for the MCs to demonstrate their heroism).

Happily suggest anything written by Argon, Woodmanone and Refusenik. You might also want to go through the many contributions by Ernest Bywater.

Argon has an impressive list. Have a suggestion on where to start?

You can start with the Clearwater Universe, perhaps skip Her Apple Pie (one of the mcs had cheated of sorts before the story starts). If you like historical fiction, start with Will Potter. It's almost standalone. The Return of Thomas Grey was also standalone before I added a prequel and four shorter sequels. Hope you'll like them.

Some of WTSman's stories. In particular Odd Job, The Proposition and The Fat Girl.

I'd suggest EzzyB's whole Chaos series, though the sex is limited in the last two.

I'm a fan of Sea-Life's Worlds of Light stories.

I don't remember any of the things you're trying to avoid in Janna Leonard's Shirley Jean, and you didn't say the romance needed to be m/f...

Several stories by Jay Cantrell may work.

Charlie for now is another author for one-on-one romance. I'm about 1/5th of the way through rereading his work again.

Another I like to reread is Uncle Jim.

Jody Daniel has stories with multiple girlfriends, but with out all the sex. I am just starting to reread all of his work.

Charlie for now seems to have polyamory listed in darn near every story. Trying to get away from that for the time being.

I know you specified long form, but when I'm feeling burned out I like to reread Dag123's very short & uplifting stories: https://storiesonline.net/series/391/driftwood-on-memorys-river

Long form, romance, IIRC only the two protagonists are involved with each other.
