Here's a little something about me for y'all to comprehend... I am a lover of science fiction and fantasy. I'd be willing to guess I ain't alone in that, simply deducing from many of the stories on this website!
But my wife decided she finally wanted Disney+. It was something we simply didn't see the need for, but now my wife said she wanted to see the new Star Wars shows. Well, this was about a month and a half ago, and we finally finished Andor. Now that was fun!
Well, a few nights ago, I was browsing YouTube and stumbled upon the scene in the second season where Mon Mothma dances at her daughter's wedding, having a cathartic moment and letting loose, as if no one is watching. In reality, she is dancing because she has decided to stop pussy-footing around and show the Empire what she really thinks of them. She is enjoying her last dance in this world, she's known her entire life. It's a fantastic scene.
But I digress...
I found a special edit on YouTube from the creators of Andor, which is a remixed version of Mon Mothma dancing in a circle. And the awesome dance track with it works wonderfully! It is an entire hour of that song replaying over and over again, just like the old raves from back in my college days. Well, sometimes the music just repeated, or the superfluous chemical digested back then just made it seem that way. But I digress...
If you liked that scene from the show, search for it on YouTube and enjoy. It's got just the right beat for me to do some nice writing. So lovely in fact, I'll be sending the next chapter of Mayhem in a Pill on to the editors for them later this week. So you lucky people should be getting access to the next chapter early next week. Isn't that great?
