It’s been a long time—longer than I ever intended—and I know I’ve been quiet. I wanted to come on here and be honest with you about why. A while back, I was diagnosed with a serious illness. It was a shock, and I’ve spent the last few months in and out of the hospital receiving treatment.
To be honest, even in my hospital bed, I was still writing. It was my escape. But even though the words were there, my heart wasn't in a place where I could share them. I needed that time to focus on my mental health and just… heal.
But I have some good news. My health is finally back on track, and my spirit feels stronger than ever. In fact, I’ve made a huge life change: I’ve officially quit my 9-to-5 job. Writing is no longer my 'second shift'—it is now my full-time mission.
I also want to say a huge thank you for the flood of messages I received while I was away. I read every single one of them. Even though I didn't have the strength to reply at the time, please know that your kindness was a lifeline for me. It kept me going.
