While poking around YouTube the other day, I found a few interesting drone video clips of the Pittwater area:
https://youtu.be/xLkcIGFxfDM (mainly around the West Head / Barrenjoey end of Pittwater)
https://youtu.be/Y7eicBBSv28 (the Church Point / Bayview / Scotland Island end)
https://youtu.be/NZaLSWvcKhw (the Basin, Coal and Candle Creek)
https://youtu.be/1KsRAB7en2w (PIttwater High School) - a lot has changed in the 40 years since Will and the others graduated high school
https://youtu.be/WleX3beBfAw (Avalon Sailing Club - history)
While I am writing the next few chapters; here's a video on youtube that I came across the other day; it's of drone footage around Bungan beach - a key location in the first book of the series.
I've corrected the link: You Tube
If that doesn't work, search in youtube for "pittwaterpathways"
For those that want some background to the music and recording industry in the story; check out these two videos on YouTube - search for "blood and thunder alberts". All of the people, bands and that are taken from actual events; I just took a bit of "artistic license".

Would Alberts have taken on the Roberttones? Probably not; but more likely Salamon (back in the summer of 1975/76 - in "Cathy"). Who knows about "Winters and Morris"? Maybe...
As a Christmas present to my readers, "Lori" chapter 19 has just been submitted. I'm about to start 11 days vacation, and won't be back writing until January 4th - but Chapter 20 is at least started...
Enjoy.

I'm feeling rather sad and heartbroken today. Almost ten years ago, purely by chance, I met a wonderful woman; who would become my friend, muse and lover. She was the person who really inspired my to write, and part of the character of "Cathy" (the good parts...) was inspired by her. Parts of the character of "Ros" will be inspired by her. Circumstances prevented us from being together, but we met any chance we could. Then three years ago, a stupid argument broke us up. I discovered yesterday; purely by chance, that she had passed away in April this year.
Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
If I make you feel second best
Girl, I'm so sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Farewell, Lisa Ann Purdon; I treasure the time we had together.
