I finally posted the next chapter in the Percy Holmes series. I currently don't have an editor and by some of the comments I received, I need one.
Sorry for all the errors. I hope you can over look them and enjoy the story.

Oops! I know I promised The Mason, but I got some really constructive criticism from a new editor and I'm. Working on a rewrite. I hope to have it ready before the new year.
Anyway, Remembering, is just a short tear jerker I knocked off over a weekend. I hope you enjoy it.
As far as editors go, my regular editor no longer responds to my email (3 months now). I hope he's just mad at me and still in good health.
So anyway, I got a new editor and he lasted exactly one story. He then got a new job at a higher salary and needs to spend more time working and less time editing. So I'm back to looking again.
If anyone out there wants to try, drop me a note. While I use Microsoft Word as my spell check and Grammar checker, I would like an editor who holds my feet to the fire and makes my stories readable. If my work sucks, I'd like an early warning.
I just sent a new Story to my editor. I should have it back by the end of the month and ready to post.
This tale is about a member of a crime family and his life among crime.

I'd like to thank all the readers of my story The Funeral Director and those who voted.
This was the first story I almost didn't post because of the way the whole embalming process affected me. I tried to soften the process, but there's not much a person can do. Researching the process gave me a whole new outlook on what will happen to most of us.
To any of you who work in the funeral trade, you have my deepest respect.
On to other subjects.
I'm currently working on three stories. The one that's closest to completion should be out in October. I know I shouldn't make predictions because life gets in the way. As some philosopher once said, "Men plan and God's laugh."

I just sent another story off to my editor. This is about 50k right now. If he doesn't make me rewrite it, I should have it posted here in about two weeks. Then I'll put it on Lit towards the end of August.
I've still got a couple of more to finish that I started last year as well as my 150,000 word mystery novel.
It will be a busy fall.
