Alien chapter 11 should be up any moment. It will be my last posting of 2014, so have a good holiday and an amazing new year!
I've tried something a bit different in this chapter.
There is a part of the story where Simon hears voices and has to put together who is talking for himself. I've decided to put the reader in the same predicament.
I do think it is fairly easy to figure out who is saying what, but if it happens to complicate things unnecessarily, I would welcome the feedback.
Fun little short that jumped into my mind. I think we've all been in that room in some way or another.

A friend's sister?
That girl who's engaged and yet you get along far too well to deny the chemistry?
That time you drank too much and woke up next to your close friend?

It really doesn't have to make much sense yet.
Gonna make it a goal of mine to get a chapter out once per month. It's not a very ambitious goal, but with all the excitement that comes with trying to get a PhD, having a goal that isn't overly ambitious makes it a goal I'm not as likely to let fall off the priority list.
I have 3 unpublished chapters for Mental Stage, but I think I'm just going to let that story drop into the "not complete" category. I know where I want that story to go and I'm not willing to do the work to get it there gracefully.
