In The Legacy, I'm getting close to his having Jake choose his Caretaker and wanted to ask my reader what do you conceder the best characteristics that Jake should look for. All the women from Cassandra are beautiful so that doesn't become a factor. So what quality's should he be looking for?
People have been writing me saying they think I'm going to have Doc Williams sister become Clay's next wife. To tell the truth I hadn't thought of it. I was thinking of him being her sponsor, but now I don't know? He already has four wives and is not superman, but they are all pregnant? Let me know what you think. Ideas on where I should go with this story are always welcome I'm not promising I'll use them, but I will conceder them.
Kingkey
Without trying to ruin the story for you. A couple of people have wrote that Jakob was only an E-6 after 23 years he must be what is commonly call a Shit Bird the reason that I left him an E-6 is anyone enlisted above E-6 is not still in the active recon teams they are most become a instructor so he's going to be a bad boy not bad enough to be in trouble just bad enough to keep from being promoted away.
I used the first line from a cadence song for the name because I thought if I used the old name of Raider in would coufuse the readers Recon has not used it in years because the public associated it as an assassin ask any Former actice Marine of the Song they learened in boot camp that started "I want to be a Recon Ranger" I'll guarantee 99% remember it.
I got the email from an anonymous reader;
The Army uses/Rangers & the Marines have Force
Recon. Their job disscriptions are NOT
interchangeable. Force Recon members are insulted
if you call them Rangers. Please do your
research. Thank You.
Force Recon still uses the term Recon Ranger. Also they were also they were
called Raiders from WW2 through Viet Nam and the line "I want to be a Recon Ranger" is still used by the Marines while singing cadence during PT runs as I'm sure a lot of Marines can tell you. I spent 8 years in the Marines and 2 of them in 2nd Recon platoon 1st Marine division and served with them I VietNam we were called by a lot of names.
I'm sorry to my reader I have to comment this way but it is the only way when the poster don't have the guts to post using and E-mail address we can respond to.
