The last four or five weeks have been personal time. Pressure of work plus some private family matters that needed my full attention have meant that I just have not been available to write, read or even log into this site.
Apologies to those who were waiting for comment answers - I have done that now.
I have finished chapter 9 of Ni'ng Wu and that has gone off to be proofed, so there should be a submission quite soon.
The best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men, gang aft agley!
Last Tuesday I was nuking my lunch in the microwave and dropped it, whilst taking it out. Well I have fairly quick reactions and caught it before it hit the floor - 'Well done!' you might say, but no 'Bloody stupid!'. I coated my left hand - my main hand - with very very hot mashed potato and it sticks! By the time I had managed to dance and scream my way to the sink and work the cold tap with my right hand - the wrong one - well I think I will leave the rest to your imagination.
Anyway the only permanent damage is to my ego, but I have to apologise for new delays. I still have some blisters on my little finger, but I can type again, so I will start catching up.
Please bare with me and I will try to catch up over the next few days, oh and please take the above advice!

Thanks to all who have emailed me with support and corrections and sorry if I have been a bit lax in replying, though I think I am caught up now.
It has been one of those weeks when nothing gets started, nothing gets done, but despite which there hardly seems to have been a minute to call my own.
I'll try and make time at the weekend for some writing, but don't expect anything, not even another 'Travellers' chapter, until after the weekend at the absolute earliest. I have made a good start on Chapter 9 of 'Ni'ng Wu' and I'll try and see if I can't push on with that a bit. Releasing some of my 'Travellers' Chapters has at least, it seems, served its purpose and given my muse time to get her metaphorical arse back in gear!

Three more Chapters, though the middle one is only tiny.
In addition I have fixed a few of the typos in Chapter 1. This is just a stop gap and I will go back and do a more thorough re-write.

I stayed up all night listening to the election results(and was that ever a waste of time!) and did my final proofing tired - big mistake.
What can I say, but sorry. I'll get right on it and fix the errors and then to make sure I learn my lesson I'll keep myself in for an hour after school.
