OK, I just wanted to let everyone know I am writing. I am currently about half way through Privateer02. It is only going to be about half the length of Privateer01 but I'm not too upset about that since P1 was more of a universe building story.
I'm not really sure what the difficulty is this time but I have struggled with writing this story. P1 actually took me about two weeks to write (and in some areas it reads like it). This one has been a slog for the last month. A lot of it, I think, has to do with me doing some very technical training, stuff that requires me to really memorize steps and not a whole lot of creative thinking. But for all I know that can be complete bullshit and the fact is I'm just a lazy bastard. Oh well.
Anywho, I've also reformatted and touched up P1 and as soon as I'm finished with P2 I'm going to need editors to go over both stories. I plan to resubmit P1 a chapter at a time every couple of days then continue with P2 in the same way. This may screw up the score of P1 but screw it, I think with the new formatting and touch ups it reads better.
After P2 I think I'm going to try to write some more stories that will be shorter. I have a few chunks of stories that I'd planned on as long form but I think I can make shorts out of them and it'll be easier on me.
