Cederic: Stories

Hey.

I’m really not big at finishing stories. Seriously. Anything beyond a handful of pages is bordering on a miracle. So when I do get inspired, I really bury myself in a story to see if I can get to the end before I get bored. Days of furious typing.

Now, within hours of publishing the first two chapters of ‘The Creation of Nemo’, I had gotten quite a chunk of really good feedback, most of it virtually begging me not to abandon the story, not to take too long between chapters, and so on.

For clarity’s sake… I am not big at finishing stories, but my current aim is to create more and more stories in the same setting, weaving them together. ‘The creation of Nemo’ is the first to be published here, and I have a couple of more chapters ready and a couple more in my head… but then I don’t know where to go with this particular part of his adventures. Then perhaps I will write a story about Nemo in the future, or Nemo in the past, or even about other characters interacting with the same setting and events. Then later I might go back and add to the creation, as I tend to go wherever inspiration takes me.

No worries. There will be an end. I just don’t know in which story, and it happened so many ages ago it isn’t really in the history books even. Now, enjoy the trip. After all, it’s not the end that you are really interested in… it’s the way we get there. And trust me – the way Nemo get’s there is… going to take some explaining.
