Chapter 57
Dearest Willow and Family,
Thank goodness that you're safe and at home for now. I was truly concerned that the next communication I received from Wadi would be your chain of command requesting that I come to take you all home with me. That is except Willow and Erica. From what I saw of the battle there might not have been enough of Willow and Erica to bring home. Anyway I had asked the Governor if we had a ship available for the task. That got him to thinking and he is working on acquiring a K'treel ship for such missions. It seems that I'm not the only person to have someone in a more active area of the battle will them their concubines. For the nonce none of us has needed to retrieve widowed concubines but as the war drags on, and it will, it is beyond a certainty that more than one person will need to do such a sad task. Indeed my concern led the Governor to take a survey of the rest of the research groups here to see how many were being willed concubines. He's getting with the Fleet Auxiliary to see if he can convince them to station a couple of people capable of handling a ship here permanently then if he can't get a K'treel or even two we'll build something similar so that we can have a ship or ships available that no one else has a call on. One may get used to retrieve concubines and more people to fill specialty slots in the colony so there may be trips to Earth. But I can't tell you when that will happen.
I see that you sent video from your tank, if not to me then to the research groups here. Let me tell you little sister, while it wouldn't have been worth your lives, that intelligence is worth a gold mine. I've been researching drones. The AI doesn't like my idea but heck humans have had flying bombs for a long time. Here is my idea to deal with the sky watchers; hundreds, maybe even thousands of small flying bombs that fly nap of the earth. They can take directions from any person who spots the unique activity of sky watchers and home in on them. That should stop the Sa'arm from using sky watchers for at least a while. And since these drones can weigh as little as one hundred fifteen grams they ought to be awfully hard to spot as well. I've included a random flight program that will hopefully make them even harder to hit. The research group here that deals with such things says that you should load them in your tank. Use the smoke tubes to launch them. I've configured them to fit. I've also included a couple of smoke bombs that the egg heads here would like tried out. They are utterly interested in making sky watching into a loosing proposition for the Sa'arm! I noticed also that the Sa'arm have a unique chemistry so I added a 'sniffer' to these bombs, they should only activate and explode in the presence of the Sa'arm. That of course will be problematic if some how you're at close quarters with them and there are still a few bombs left.
Well I'm sure you don't want to know too much about my various projects and ideas (even when they can affect you) and really want to know how my life is getting on. I'd say that in many ways we've settled into a routine. Marissa and I leave the pod every day to go to work then when our work day is done we come home and kiss our spouses and each other. Oh, I can and do take Lily or Ron or Holly with me. Dana is getting so large with her twins that she's nearly housebound, and the twins are still a little young to be taken out. Beth and Katy like to stay home and dote on them and Dana, so that works out. We're looking into handcrafts that the housewives can do like sewing, knitting and crocheting. Dana saw some pictures of the tapestries that were made by the concubines at Ishtar and asked if she could try it. So my workshop is growing an addition and we're going to get a pattern for a tapestry loom as well as look into how to create patterns for a tapestry. We're looking into spinning our own yarn as well, even if we do have to have the replicator create ersatz wool or cotton to start with. I liked your idea of cotton so much that I requested that we have at least forty acres near our house set aside to attempt to grow some. Of course that will mean (if it works) that I have to study a cotton gin so that we can separate the seeds from the bolls.
Gee it almost seems as if I'm avoiding my family life. Really it is wonderful. But at the same time even if you're all grown up and fighting in a tank on Wadi I find myself hesitant to tell you about the bedroom antics we get up to. To me they are private, not to be shared too openly. I think that was what I didn't like about Rebecca in some ways. It seemed as if she came here specifically looking to start an orgy. And while I don't mind admitting that we have a wonderful and varied sex life with eight of us to get busy and stimulate one another, I do find that it is at times difficult to share. Oh there are times, like when Katy started giving Ron instructions on eating pussy. She literally laid naked on his back and looked over his shoulder while he was licking Marissa, Holly, Beth, Dana and Lily. She made him give every one of the other ladies at least two orgasms while she tickled, teased and kibitzed. Then Lily did the same thing to make sure that Katy got her orgasms in as well. We have lots of time (well relatively) to make love to one another, so we take ours sweet time about it most of the time drawing out the peaks. Trying to push them higher and higher by not letting the wave break the first, or even the dozenth time (at least some times) as the women did with Ron that night. When Marissa told Ron that she wanted to see him cum after he was lying on his back after Katy had rolled off him after Lily let him get to a position where Katy could sit on his face, he screamed (which he only usually does when he's being filled with a cock or dildo) and shot cum about two feet over his head. It was awesome!
