Chapter 106
Dear Brianna,
I'm certain that Atlantis-At is not so terrible, as I'm so timid. Also my Mistress wants me to feel safe when I walk around. Wearing a chastity belt does that for me. I was so distressed the last time I wrote that I forgot to have Mistress Marissa add a picture of me with my baby, we named her Veronica. Ron promptly asked if eventually we'll shorten that to Ronnie. I don't know. After all she's too young yet to have even started to recognize signs.
Most of the rest of the babies in the household are signing at least a little depending on their age. Thus if they yell at you they also tell you if they're wet or hungry or sometimes just sleepy. Though they usually refuse to admit that last option!
I don't think that anyone one Atlantis-At would ever touch me without my master's permission, but that's not enough to make me feel safe without some visual badge of belonging. Among my family I have no worry, well except that when we're all feeling amorous we might rub Ron raw. Marissa has carefully quizzed the AI and it can't give us a definitive answer as to when we might expect Master Will to return. So I'm sure she is considering whether or not to bring in another male concubine. I think I can see that. Maybe it is us all confirming that we're alive and have each other, but lately Ron has had to visit the sleep-trainer every night at least once because he's been rubbed raw by us.
I get a bit distracted by the many things that I can write about so I imagine that I seem a bit scatterbrained at times. Still Violet mentioned your herb garden. We have something closer to a field than a garden. One area about 30 meters by 30 meters is under a dome and has a hydroponic garden. There we have several types of hot peppers jalapeno is maybe the hottest but I know Master Will wanted to get other types. Also we have an herb garden there with sage, dill and rosemary that I can recognize. There are several types of mint growing there as well, catnip, peppermint and wintergreen for certain though someone said we have chocolate mint as well. They all (the mints that is) make nice teas when they've been dried.
Outside the dome there are trees, or at least they will be trees someday. Will got some apple seeds, he said that once upon a time, though it wasn't a story that might not be true like Snowwhite and the Seven Dwarves, a man had walked into the wilderness of America with nothing more than a small pack, a cooking pot and a lot of apple seeds. Wherever he went he planted apple trees. Then when European settlers came behind him they found apple trees growing. He said we might not get the best apples from the seedlings but that they were a start.
One thing (or rather several) that he had worked to get here were bee hives. He said that a lot of plants won't grow properly if they don't have bees to pollinate them. Besides that if there are plants like the roses and fields of clover behind us the bees will provide (not willingly) honey for us to eat. Still most of that, except the clover and bees and dome full of herbs and spices is yet a dream. And even the dome is less than a third used as yet. Outside there is a large plot close to 70 meters on a side if you include the dome which occupies one corner that has lots of experimental plots where it doesn't have seedling trees that Will managed to get to start.
